SFG Logo

sanfranciscogreeks.com was founded by Jim Lucas. Over the years Jim has built web sites for churches, cathedrals, and ministries of the Greek Orthodox Church. He is active with many organizations. Jim's work with the community has one central theme; Unity!.

Jim, together with other Greeks, wanted to build a Greek web portal for the community that was truly wonderful. Since we started this project we have received many notes of encouragement and support. When we thought about a logo the right words came to us easily. It was "Unified Greeks of San Francisco". When we thought about a title for our blog that expressed the feelings we have for our culture, faith, and heritage it was "United Hellenism" or "Enomenos Ellinismos."

In September 2013, we redesigned the web site integrating every form of social media (Facebook, Twitter, RSS News Feeds, Video).
